Venturers 2015

Congratulations to our Venturer Bradley Kearns who was elected as 1 of 4 Venturer Reps at the recent Forum. We wish him the very best of luck as he takes on this new Challenge.

North Eastern Scout Province – Community  Celebration Award 7th Meath (Dunshaughlin)
After a community survey the group identified the need for more trees in their community. The group who work closely with their Tidy towns group then offered to undertake this work in the community. This included the main area in the town park to replace trees that were vandalised. In the last 5 years the group have planted approx. 700 trees around the village. 7th Meath have worked closely with Tidy Towns for many years undertaking tree planting, clearing litter, sowing wildflower seeds etc. all guided by and in partnership with the their Tidy Towns Group.

2nd February 2013 – Annual Table Quiz

Many thanks to everyone who turned out in force tonight to support our annual fundraising table quiz. It was great to see so many tables filled! A big thank-you to Tony Flynn for being a wonderful Quiz Master. All proceeds raised go towards our Den fund and each child’s summer camp.

10th November 2012 – Winners of Community Award

7th Meath won the community award in the sports and leisure category at tonight’s awards in Dunshaughlin. Our thanks to the judging panel who chose us from among stiff competition. Congratulations to Fergus and Pat who were on hand to collect the award.
