Activities 2010-2011
7th Meath Dunshaughlin Venture Scouts have set ourselves a challenge. We plan to build one raft per “Venture Patrol” and raft the Boyne from Navan to Slane with one overnight camp on the riverbank. This is our flagship event for the year and will involve weeks of planning & building, safety & contingency, doing & reviewing.
With the above in mind, suitable clothing for the next several (outdoor) “Patrol Nites” will be warm and waterproof

Patrol Nites:
Venture Scouts meet on Wednesday nights in “St Seachnall’s School” from 19.30 to 21.15.
We have introduced a scoring system for our four Patrols from last week. Points will be awarded for several aspects including attendance, wearing kneckerchief, competitive participation in activities ect. The leaders (Scouters) will take the winning patrol out for a meal at the end of this term.

If you are aged between 16 & 21, fancy a challenge and are available to meet for two hours every week & can spare 1 weekend a month, then why not join us?
