Ventures Croke Park 9th & 30th September 2012

Venture Scouts launched the Gathering 2013 at Croke Park on Sunday 9th September. They had to pull out two large flags one of the Kilkenny colours and the other with the Galway colours it was done in front of a packed stadium of over 82,000 people no pressure . Each panel had to be straight and in perfect timing to music.

The flags were reused for the replay of the Kilkenny V Galway match on Sunday 30th September and again the Venture scouts were asked to do it again as they had done such a brillant job at the Gathering Launch. See below the thank you letter received.

11th September 2012,

 7th Meath Venture Scouts,

I did not catch you all following the spectacular day at the All-Ireland Hurling final. I want to thank you all for your hard work, late hours, expert advice and commitment in helping us launch what was an exceptional delivery in and aroundCrokePark.

It really was a WOW day on many levels & we could not have delivered the impact the professional activation and seamless execution without you and your extended teams.

I can’t thank you enough and really look forward to working with you & your teams in the future. Please pass on both the Gathering Ireland 2013 team’s thanks and my own personal thanks to all involved.

 Kind Regards

 9th October 2012.

 Hi all,

2012 has been a fantastic season with two epic finals and all attended safely by 1.3M people – this is a phenomenal achievement.

The season is built around teamwork and here lies our greatest strength. What we have is classic synergy and I just wanted to thank you for the part you play in keepingCrokeParka special place. In particular my own team need special mention as they constantly go above and beyond what is required. During the course of the year we conducted a number of patron experience questionnaires and our average Net Promoter Score is above 70% which to put in context is on par with the best of the blue chip companies worldwide – this ties in nicely with ‘Nothing Beats Being There’!

 Go raibh maith agaibh!
